Grief Share

Offered for: Men & Women

Facing Tomorrow

Grief changes everything. The loss of someone you love can leave you feeling lost, weary, and uncertain about the path forward. Recovery Alaska welcomes you into an approved GriefShare group, a caring and confidential space where people who understand the weight of grief will walk alongside you through the healing process.

Healing does not come from pretending, pushing forward before you are ready, or walking this path alone. Healing happens when you are given room to grieve honestly, supported by others who truly understand.

What You Can Expect

GriefShare is a thirteen week support group that offers thoughtful guidance, practical tools, and steady companionship. Each weekly gathering follows a trusted rhythm designed to meet you where you are.
Every meeting opens with a thirty minute video featuring respected counselors, pastors, healthcare professionals, and individuals who have walked their own road of loss. Their insight and honesty help you make sense of difficult emotions, gain clarity, and find answers as you move through grief.

Following the video, the group gathers in honest conversation. Speaking with people who understand what you are facing brings comfort, normalizes the grief experience, and offers steady support. No one is required to speak. You are welcome to come, listen, and simply be present.

Your participant guide serves as a trusted companion between sessions. The book helps you process emotions, reflect on your experience, and apply what you learn in the group to your own life.
